6. 2010: Halo - Reach

The release on September 14th was the last in the series of Bungie developed Halo games. The ending of a contract with Microsoft saw Bungie moving to the Destiny Franchise. Reach appealed to many franchise fans for its multiplayer functionality, which guaranteed quality.

Reach became a trademark during the release anniversary for Halo I. Staunch fans believe this was the last release of an actual Halo game as the contract between Microsoft and Bungie ended.

7. 2011: Halo - Combat Evolved Anniversary

After a decade, a high definition remake of Halo: Combat Evolved was released. It is found on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows Master Chief Collection.

8. 2012: Halo 4

343 Industries started by installing Halo 4 on Xbox 360, and after that, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. Developers created a new story on this game that was released on 6th November, leaving fans hanging and unable to relate with previous releases. Some fans, however, loved the play that came with Halo 4 under the Master Chief Collection.

9. 2013: Halo - Spartan Assault

8th July 2013 saw the release of this game found on Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Phone, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and iOS. This mobile twin-stick shooter game was originally exclusive to Windows 8 phones, tablets, and PCs. Before the announcement, Spartan Assault was code-named Halo: Bootcamp.

14. 2018: Halo - Fireteam Raven

Found on Arcade cabinet platform, this Halo game was released on 10th July. At first, it was released as an exclusive to Dave & Buster's in North America. However, it was made international later on. The game is set in the timeframe of Halo: Combat Evolved.
