May 09, 2018 Microsoft LifeCam Issue After Teams Update. Prior to the most recent Teams update, my webcam properly adjusted the brightness during Team's video calls. Following the update everything appears dark on video conferences and adjusting the settings appears to have no impact on the issue. Microsoft LifeCam Cinema Driver Version: 10.0.16299.15. The LifeCam, a webcam offered by Microsoft, takes pictures and records video for face-to-face chats with your family and friends. Most newer LifeCam models have a variety of features such as auto-focus, face-tracking technology and an HD sensor for recording high-quality video. If your LifeCam doesn't focus properly, the video will look blurry.
I installed Lifecam Cinema on my Windows XP computer. It works fine and I can adjust the brightness using the configuration panel on the accompanying software (Microsoft LifeCam). However, what I actually need is to adjust brightness while the camera is being used by my own program. I also used Microsoft lifecam software to adjust the brightness and it makes effect on camera immediately. But the max/min value of brightness are max = 2.5, min = -2.5 Please show me the way to set brightness of camera and why the max/min values that i get are different from value on property pages?
