From your Downloads folder, open the Keyscape Installation folder. Review the “PLEASE READ.pdf” for information about the installation options. Open the “Windows” folder and double-click the “Keyscape Installer.exe” file to launch the installer. Begin the installation process by clicking “Next.”. Spectrasonics Keyscape v1.1.2c73 Gb. Tree Import

* AutoCAD 2021 known issue - Where text is set to RGB colour white, or RGB near white, and will display black, when the background is also set to black. There is no fix to this issue for AutoCAD 2021 and Autodesk have escalated this to be resolved in future release. If this is a particular issue, please use AutoCAD 2020 as your base platform or install KeySCAPE 12.1 for 2020.

  • Softworks Pricing – you can now assign prices to all Softworks specifications contained in the drawing. Prices are saved in the drawing and you can export and import price files for use within other drawings. Prices can be updated globally based on specific values or percentages.

Productivity Features

  • Double-click Edit – You can now double-click to edit a KeySCAPE object, avoiding the need to use the respective modify commands. This feature alone will halve the time it takes you to edit KeySCAPE features, more than doubling your productivity!
  • Boundary Creation – When using any of the boundary creation and clone tools within KeySCAPE, typically planting or paving areas, you now have an extended option to create a boundary set before picking the internal point. This command line option makes boundary detection more precise and significantly quicker.
  • Hatch by Selection – You can now rapidly hatch multiple planting areas in a single operation as we now fully support the 'select objects' option within the AutoCAD Gradient and Hatch command.
  • Enhanced Migration Routines – Extensive improvements have been made to the migration routines from KeySCAPE FP and KeyPLANTING.

Presentation Features

  • Extended Layer Controls – KeySCAPE objects will no longer be on a single layer. Individual components appear on their own sub-layers. This enables greater control over the display of individual elements.
  • Extended Object Display Options - Colour, linetype and lineweight can now be set for individual object components.
  • Enhancements to Specification and Schedule Styles – Extensive improvements have been made to the specification and schedule style dialogs. All the data can now be managed in a single spreadsheet like interface with options that include
    • Fixed width columns with word wrap.
    • Background colours or masks that blank out the drawing information below, making text easier to read
    • Text heights, styles, colour and border settings can be applied globally or as over-rides on a per cell basis.
    • Autoleaders make it easier to position leader points.
  • New Symbols – Additional symbols have been added whilst many existing symbols have been updated, including trees, shrubs, climbers and transportation.
  • New Paving Patterns – Many new general and random patterns have been added, avoiding the need to create them from scratch.
  • Datatype Manager - Allows editing of the way data is presented within specifications and schedules including modification of prefixes and suffixes.
  • Improved Help System - The KeySCAPE help system has been overhauled to detail all existing and latest features.
